Your website is full of content. Some of it's performing well, but let's be honest, a lot of it has untapped potential pages that are stuck on the second page of search results articles that are good but not great. What if you had a data-driven way to find and fix the weaknesses in your existing content? In this lesson, you'll learn how to use the AI content score to turn any existing page into a high performing asset.
Let's rejoin our content manager, Cindy. This time she's not starting from scratch. She's pulled in a blog post from last year that's underperforming for a high value keyword. She's already gone through the setup process, pasting in the URL, customizing her competitors and customizing the AI generated insight cards.
Her guide for this optimization mission is the AI content score on the right. This isn't just a grade, it's an intelligent quality check that measures her existing content against the ideal optimized brief. The score gives her an instant diagnosis. Her intent alignment score is low. The objective card reminds her of the goal she'd set for this page, but the AI powered analysis is telling her how the current content on the page doesn't fully satisfy that goal.
Now it's time to take action. First, a surgical fix. Cindy can make some manual rewrites or have AI help her revise specific sections, then refresh the assessment to watch her overall content score tick upwards.
Next, she addresses a missing topic from the subtopics card. She adds a new section and uses the AI revision tool to expand the selection seamlessly weaving in the new information.
And that's the modern optimization workflow. It's no longer a guessing game. You have a dynamic guide that provides a clear diagnosis of any existing page and powerful tools to take action, turning a refinement from a chore into a strategic advantage.
